Development

Darren's calamares-config commits landed with two installer-level changes worth knowing about. The boot gfxmode now prefers 1008p over native 4K, which keeps older hardware from choking on high-resolution frames during install. Disk encryption has been removed from the default install flow; you can still set it up after the fact if you want it, and Darren's commit message about that is honestly peak engineering understatement. On the CI side, natalie pushed Secret Detection and SAST scanning into the GitLab pipeline across the project repos and shipped an MCP stdio server in us-infra-hub — the build infrastructure keeps getting sharper.
