AcreetionOS is led by Co-Lead Developers Natalie Cole-Clift Spiva and her father, Darren Clift. It is an independent, volunteer-run project based in Spokane, WA. The project is not affiliated with StormOS or Ben Fitzpatrick.

AcreetionOS Hyprland is a Wayland-focused spinoff featuring the highly-customized Hyprland tiling compositor. This edition incorporates the renowned Jakoolit Hyprland configurations, providing a stunning, efficient, and modern desktop experience right out of the box.

Why Hyprland?

Hyprland is a dynamic tiling Wayland compositor that doesn't sacrifice on looks. By using Jakoolit's configurations, we ensure that you get a pre-configured environment with all the bells and whistles (Waybar, Wofi, Dunst, etc.) without the hours of manual setup.
